Transforming seed care with a Spark.

Seed-borne diseases cause yield losses of up to 90%. Apolarion removes pathogens from seed surfaces, without chemicals, heat or compromising seed viability. Our novel technology is uniquely scalable, and can even enhance seed germination.

The principle

What is Apolarion’s solution?

Plasma, the fourth state of matter. It is all around us: in neon signs, in lightning and in our own star, the Sun.

How does it work?

When a strong electric field strips electrons from the atoms of a gas, the gas becomes a mix of ions, free electrons and neutral particles: a plasma. Apolarion puts the properties of this plasma to work in ingenious ways, so our solution adapts to many uses.
